How do we stoke the fire of our heart's desire when life throws us a curveball?

I take it that to you a curveball means something negative.
ReplyDeleteLet's take a look at this, a curve ball can still be hit out of the park. Not every ball is a fast ball. Life has given you something that currently you cannot see the benefits or value of. Step back, take a deep breath & go within. Reconnect with your vision of a homerun (to continue with our baseball analogy). Life does not bring you the homerun, it gives you opportunities to choose from to make it happen in the way you want. When life throws you a curveball, don't judge it as a negation of your desire. Step out of the box, go within & reconnect with your ability to participate with the next step on your journey of discovery. Sometimes, just stepping out of the way of a wild pitch is quite timely & valuable in its own rite. So, say it with me, step back, go within, reconnect. Never underestimate the power of this simple choice. Reconnecting brings clarity & clarity always bring right action. The next time a curve ball comes your way, you will either let it go by, it's not your pitch, or you will swing with it, knowing life has just offered you something of immense value. Either way, you will be at choice based on your immediate needs & ultimate desire. Don't step out of the batter's box in defeat; step out to reconnect within. Don't decide the curveball is your defeat; it's just one pitch. Life is always bringing us opportunities to play with it, so I like your baseball analogy. Play on!
